A bit peely-wally.

Standard

That’s how I’m feeling today – a tiny bit headachy, and tired – mainly because we stayed up to the end of the Closing Ceremony last night, which was way past my bedtime, but also partly because I have just been to the dentist.  Thankfully I didn’t need root canal treatment, which we’d feared I might, but I had a big filling in a back tooth, and am feeling a bit delicate right now.

However, I do still have a Positive Thing for the day (just before I go off and snuggle up on the sofa to watch Neighbours and wait to get the feeling back in my face) – which is that I have finished my lacy scarf, which I am going to give to my sister when she comes to visit this weekend (which will be another positive thing, especially as they are staying not just one night, but two) – and my lovely friend Penny, from knitting group, has taken it home to block it properly for me – I was just going to press it gently – so it will look gorgeous!  When I get it back, I’ll put a picture on here.

I’ve also wound the two skeins of yarn that I posted a picture of earlier on, so that I can start knitting my scarf – it is just too tempting to leave it and do the other projects that have been on the list for longer, so I will get going on that tonight.
