Mothers Day

I am a very lucky woman indeed.  For Mothers Day, my three boys got together and bought me a hamper from Fortnum and Masons – with sugared almonds, chocolates, pink fizz and posh soap – all in a little wicker basket.  It was No2 son’s idea, they all contributed, and N picked it up and smuggled it home.  My heart is just overflowing with how happy this has made me – they are very definitely Positive Things in my life.  Wonderfully positive things, and I am so lucky to have them to love and to be loved by.

About sdtgcraftygenius

I'm in my late forties, mum of three teenage boys, living near Glasgow. I've been a nurse, studied politics and music at university, and now I am a stay-at-home mother. I've suffered from depression for many years (only recently diagnosed), and take antidepressants daily to keep me on a manageable level.
