Cold, rain and a Mumsnet meet up.

Standard

Instead of going to my usual knitting group today, I met up with some of the Glasgow mumsnetters who knit for the Woolly Hug blankets, at the Burrell collection.  We had a great day, with homemade fudge and tablet, lots of blether and a bit of knitting!

Then home for a rather tired afternoon on the couch, and choir practice tonight.  We were supposed to have a concert this Friday, but as the church for whom we were performing the concert have failed to sell even one ticket, we won’t be performing.

N is away tonight and tomorrow night – but he was able to get down to see his mum, and take her out for a belated Mothers’ Day meal tonight – and she is looking well, and seems to be coping pretty well with the chemotherapy.
