British Summer Time.

Standard

That couldn’t be more ironic this year, given how many people in the UK are still up to their elbows in snow, and how cold it still is!  But yesterday was dry and clear here, so there were plenty of golfers out at Lochwinnoch for us to watch whilst we knitted – including one brave one in shorts!

Even better, this morning is actually sunny – and N has taken today off work (which I wasn’t expecting), so maybe we will go out somewhere.  Or maybe we will finish sorting out the library (still a work in progress) – either would be good.

I have got four skeins of the most lovely yarn to use – Debbie Bliss is discontinuing the Andes yarn – a beautifully soft silk-alpaca mix – and because it is reduced, I could afford four skeins – two in a deep cerise pink and two in a paler dusty pink – and I am thinking of knitting a scarf in feather and fan pattern with deep pink ends and paler pink in the middle.  I might start knitting that now, and take a bit of time off from the cream tunic.  Anyhow, the Debbie Bliss yarn definitely counts as a Positive thing!
